Data controller
Voirama is a brand of AFRIX, a company based in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire (www.afrixci.com). AFRIX is the controller of the personal data collected on the Voirama platform. Contact: support@voirama.com.
Data collected
When creating an account: your email address, and if you provide them your last name, first name and company (optional), together with your language. Sign-in uses a link sent by email, with no password. We also keep the usage data linked to your account: datasets downloaded, content favorited or followed, visualisations consulted, sign-in dates, and the IP address at the time of certain actions (for security and abuse-prevention purposes).
Purposes and legal basis
Your data is used to: manage your account and personal space, give you access to dataset downloads, remember your favorites and follows, improve the platform and produce aggregated usage statistics. The legal basis is your consent (explicitly collected at account creation) and our legitimate interest in securing the service. No automated decision producing legal effects is made from your data.
Recipients and sharing
Your data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It is accessible to the Voirama/AFRIX team and to our technical providers strictly necessary for operation (hosting, sending of sign-in emails), bound by confidentiality. Any transfer outside Côte d’Ivoire only occurs where the provider offers appropriate safeguards, in accordance with the law.
Retention period
Account data is kept as long as your account is active. After three (3) years without sign-in, your account and the associated data are deleted or anonymised. Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and sessions after their term. You may request deletion of your account at any time.
Security
The platform applies security measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), single-use hashed sign-in tokens, secure-cookie sessions, protected database queries, security headers and origin checks on sensitive actions. As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security but we strive to protect your data.
Cookies
Voirama uses only a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in after opening your sign-in link. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.
Your rights
In accordance with Law No. 2013-450, you have the right to access, rectify, object to and delete your data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to support@voirama.com; we reply as soon as possible and within one (1) month at the latest.
Supervisory authority (ARTCI)
The processing of personal data on Voirama is governed by Ivorian Law No. 2013-450 of 19 June 2013 and is subject to declaration formalities with the Telecommunications/ICT Regulatory Authority of Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI), the data protection authority. If you believe your rights are not respected, you may refer the matter to ARTCI (www.artci.ci).
